The history of Armavir – the Salt lake near Armavir
Lakes are unique objects of nature, its monument. Their full name — Ubejische Salty mud of the lake.
They are remnants of the ancient Sarmatian sea lagoons, of the Gulf that existed about 6 million years ago. Wide valley, in which there are Large and Small Salt lakes, geologically, are reset. An impervious layer of marine lakes are bluish-gray clay verhneuralskogo time (about 4 million years) with high plastic properties. This clay is preserved only in depressions, such as described, and is the deposition of the Sarmatian sea lagoons.
The lakes are on the territory of the Cold-Bakinskogo forestry, in 25 km from Armavir, 12km from the farm No. 32, located in the North-Eastern outskirts of Armavir, near H. Kosyakino. Travel to the lakes by bus from the bus station (not to be confused with the bus station!) Armavir message “Armavir—Komakino”.
Currently information about how the lakes are used for educational purposes, lectures on geomorphology of the area, the history of natural monuments, the scientific staff of the Museum of Armavir.
Other possible topics of excursions: at the entrances of groups of tourists in the lake district it is possible to show evidence of the evolution of major geographic features (lakes), geological structures, influence of anthropogenic factors on the formation of nature and its condition, etc. Possible utilitarian use of lake mud and water for the treatment of patients.
Currently the lake is not protected. Previously there have been attempts to extract from lakes sulfate sodium (mirabilite). The salinity of the lakes cellulose, their dying.
They are in dire need of conservation measures. Big lake has an oval shape and covers an area of about ha. Small — heart-shaped area of approximately ha. The shores of the lakes shallow, highly salanie, in hot weather some lakes (Small and almost all) covered with a layer of dry salt.
In the basin creates favorable microclimatic conditions for chemical and biological processes of formation of mud. There has developed a kind of flora and fauna, organic residues which impart to the mud healing properties. These are the properties of lake water, which in addition to a variety of salts, are complex and biostimulants.
Local residents use these properties of lakes for self-treatment
wounds and ulcers.
In 1925, the chemist Skrobanski investigated the composition of water and mud Bezinskih lakes and came to the conclusion that they are therapeutic by comparing them with known tambukansky.
In 1935 a group of Armavir local historians, geologists and naturalists of the Palace of pioneers conducted research, and identified the most suitable for suctioning mud from the lakes. In the winter of 1936. physiotherapy in the hospital of Armavir were presented with demonstration of maps and samples of the mud.
In the summer of 1942. the group of scientific employees of the Simferopol medical Institute, evacuated to Armavir, carried out studies on these lakes. All the materials came to the Museum and the Institute, but during the war, died.
In 1951. in Armavir fiziolechenie office was opened with the use of these muds, and in 1953, the same, — in Novokubansk the hospital in the farm.
At present the method of analysis of the samples revealed that Bezinskih mud lakes, in the land use around the lakes, clogged large (more than 0.35 mm in diameter) particles. Such particles contained in the mud 5,11%, so it is low in quality, but still suitable for use. However, none of the health care institution is not raised seriously the issue of making fuller use of the natural deposits, and currently the number of plastic particles of the colloidal fraction decreases.
In the chaotic privatization of the total possible data transfer parcels of land to private use. Because no normative acts do not provide for liability of the tenant for the condition of the lakes, they can die permanently. Therefore I consider it necessary to transmit this information to the environmental authorities for taking measures for the preservation and cleaning of lakes.
Would clarify that access to the lakes is possible in different ways. Best bike 😉 but you can on the car. The road to Bitter Beam, in S. Best you should turn right and go along the asphalt road until a steep left turn. Here you need to turn off the road and go straight on the dirt road (after the rain is a problem) for another few miles until, until you see a fork to the right into the woods and down. It’s a Convention down to a narrow strip on the Larger lake where you can swim. In other places the shore either heavily overgrown or very finely, or swamp. In a Larger lake of no fish, because the water is very salty.
If not turning at the fork to go on and on by the main and after a few hundred meters turn left, you will come to the Small lake. There swimming a lot more, although water is not so salty, but there is fish.
In lakes the water is clean, especially when compared with the reservoir or the Kuban. By the end of the season blooms in water vegetation and float the pieces of slime. On the banks a lot of ticks – beware.
And also – a huge request to visitors to the lakes – especially important to remove your rubbish! Dirtied already.
